Linen Ministry
The Linen Ministry is responsible for washing and ironing the purificators and towels that are used each week during the masses. There is a protocol to the washing that we use, especially regarding the rinsing of those with wine stains before they are washed and the disposition of the rinse water to our garden plants. Prior to this year there were five of us and we rotated every two months for two weeks at a time. Now there are nine of us and our two week rotation is every four months. If one of us has something that comes up and are not able to do our week we reach out to see if we can trade that week with another member. It is not a difficult ministry but one that is needed. I believe all of us who are participating enjoy it and look forward to our weeks.
